About This Game The solar system is ravaged. The Earth is gone, shattered to pieces. Nothing remains but a huge ring of rocky debris. Nobody knows why the Gate malfunctioned. It was built to connect our world to other stars, but only a handful of colony ships were sent away before disaster struck. The Gate is believed to have unexpectedly connected to the wrong star -one just going nova. Torrents of gravitational waves flooded our solar system and the Earth was immediately obliterated. The Gate then started connecting to random stars, spewing ashes from dying worlds, radiation from younger suns or even drawing in alien lifeforms. The solar system began to change. Humans and their machines live on: pockets of civilization have gathered into warring factions. Haven't played it in quite some time, but I still return to it from time to time.. EDIT : Had great potential, as with most "Iceberg", game is now abandoned, unfinished, and yet another hit and run.Has a great deal of potential. The biggest plus being the Developer seems to be sticking with it, tweaking, patching and continuing support. Certainly worth it on sale and how we wish there were more devs sticking with their games for the long run. Great graphics are a plus but do not seem to bog down even a med-range machine. Lots of detailed gameplay, mining, ship customization and hiring the crew for ships and watching them evolve is a plus as well. The dev seems intent on continuing bug smashing and improving the technical side of the game. Seems to be both a game and a dev worth supporting. It's been fun as well which also counts..lol. Rather learn the "UI" in the cockpit of the Boing 737, instead playing this game (again).Not a bad game tho, just need time to get used to controls, 5\/10. I honestly tried to play this game, but it has way too many bugs.. Well... First time to buy a game on steam... or maybe to buy this game I came to steam if I have to put it that way.It's quite a fine products although after some patchs there're still naughty bugs around annoying me but I overcame , simply cause this game was that much of fun.Some different ships and modules to play with - various fittings and play styles.Quite ok main storyline mission - the only downside would be the length of it... finished in around 20 hours. Challanging game difficulty - It's not mission impossible.. but quite challanging to be honest.. I lost count how many times I became floating corps in space... and the sol system doomed so to speak.Finally. There're still alot of work to do. Putting these annoying bugs aside, I see works need to be done on -Modules refining - man. the cannons and launchers are just cargo killer. eats up so many ammunations in a short while.Utility external slot items - don't let the utility drones do all the hard work.More characteristic ship roles - it's now little bit messy.. and personally I wanna see some Battleship available for players.That's it? for now.Good work and Good luck.. Unwieldy, difficult to properly engage in - supposed to be a Space 'Mount and Warblade', but this was nothing even remotely close to that. The AI is ridiculous, ship steering is abominable - I was really expecting better from Iceberg!. Needs a ♥♥♥♥ton of polish.. This one man project is probably one of the best examples of how Early Access games should be made.It may not have the most amazing graphics in the world (at least for now, as the game is constantly evolving), but what it does have is an excellent space opera that combines complex RPG elements, real time strategy and fleet management, all in one excellent and relatively cheap title.In essense, this is a combination between Homeworld, Star Wolves, Star Treek Fleet Command and a few other excellent space titles, but combined in such a way that it actually makes sense and is lots of fun to play.But as an Early Access title, you should definitely expect some disappointments, such as for example the currently underwhelming path finding that will occasionally colide you with objects that may even destroy you. Honestly cannot reccomend this. The UI is terrible, the scaling is nonexistant, and the options for changing any of the above are equally nonexistent.It's a shame because this game haas a lot of potential, in my opinion, but its just not polished enough. If someone waas able to look past the User Interface and clunky, non-intuitive controls, the tooltips that always seem to say 'utility drone' no matter what you're pointing at, the poor movement schema, the terrible missions interface, and the occasional windows that pop up full of norwegian text (I presume it's norwegian) that you can't get rid of, I'm sure its an excellent game. I spent 1.9 hours on it and never got past the first mission.Refund Requested.. EXTREMELY BUGGED.
